The School Department of CSE/IT, LSE & LST is organizing a Quiz contest, for the 3rd Year Students of CSE/IT, LSE & LST. The Quiz will be purely IT Based.

There will be 3 phases, First phase will be online MCQ Test, 2nd and the Grand Finale will be a Quiz in presence of audience with winners taking home exciting prizes.

Students are to form a team of 3 members, from 2007 Batch, CSE/IT, LSE & LST only irrespective of the section.

Interested Students should form the team and mail the details to rajwinder.13175@lpu.co.in mentioning the Name, Registration number, Section, Email Address and Phone Numbers of the team members.

The Important Dates are as under

Registration closes on                     : 2nd March’10

MCQ First Phase (Prelim)              : 3rd Mar’10 (All teams take the online test)

Quiz, Second Phase (Semi-final)   : 10th to 12th Mar’10

Finale     : 17th Mar’10 (3 winners from the semi-final stage contest here)

Urgent: Issue of reference letters

Dear students,

This to inform students of CSE/IT third year (batch 2007) LSE & LST regarding issue of reference letter for purpose of training. Contact respective faculty as per the list of section provided:

An application should be provided to the concerned faculty for issue of reference letter. Student should provide complete reference detail of company where he/she is applying for industrial internship project. Also provide your name, registration numbers, roll number, section and your program name (B.Tech CSE or B.Tech IT).

Note:It will take at least one day to issue your reference letter and best time to contact above mentioned faculty members is between 3-5 pm every day

Few most important point related to training

Dear Students,

Following are the most important point which I think should be taken care by you and all these points are applicable to students of LSE and LST:

1. In one company at level of school utmost 10 students are allowed.

2. On one single project within any company utmost 3 students are allowed to work.

3. Only three reference letters will be issued to students for applying in any company, so prioritize your companies selection before you apply for issue of reference letter.
